Street Fair is a successful downtown Asheville business established in 1985. Susan Turner originally opened the shop to sell her award-winning quilts, but throughout the years, she continued to add inventory to the store to include clothes, scarves, hats, bags, glasses, accessories, and other various items.
In August 2016 Street Fair went under new ownership. Ashley is very excited to be the new owner of the iconic store. She is a native of Asheville and a graduate of Asheville High School. She has a BA in Environmental Sciences with a Minor in Photography from St. Johns University, Queens NY and an Associate degree in Jewelry Design from Haywood Community College. After working in Manhattan and Sacramento, California, Ashley returned to Asheville to get back to her roots. Ashley was a frequent shopper at Street Fair during her high school years and she has always admired the style the store represented. Ashley looks forward to seeing the store continue for another 31 years.
